Airport officials in Vancouver are urging people to check flight information if they're planning to travel to the United States.
 
A problem with the baggage system has resulted in "minor delays", according to YVR's Twitter feed.
 
The airport has apologized for the wait and encouraged travellers to go to yvr.ca for more information.
 
Many passengers travelling to the U.S. took to social media to complain of long lines to drop off luggage.
