Baby killed in crash

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 10 Jul, 2024 12:01 PM
  • Baby killed in crash

A head-on crash in the Fraser Valley community of Agassiz has killed a family of three, including a baby.

Police say it happened early yesterday morning when the family's car collided with a tractor trailer.

The two adults in the front were pronounced dead at the scene, while the baby was airlifted to hospital only to die a few hours later.

R-C-M-P Staff Sergeant Andy Lot, the Agassiz detachment commander, says neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be a factor in the crash, and the Mounties are bringing in support for all those affected by the deaths.
