Avian flu has been detected at a fifth farm in B-C this fall.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the latest outbreak has been detected in a commercial poultry flock in Abbotsford.

It comes two days after the agency announced an outbreak in Chilliwack, the third in that area, while the other two are in Abbotsford.

The agency estimates that more than six million birds in total are affected by the outbreaks so far this fall.

Police in Langley say they're searching for a suspect who fled from officers after ramming two police cars with an S-U-V during an arrest. R-C-M-P say the incident happened on Thursday, when police received a call about a suspicious B-M-W S-U-V with two license plates that did not belong to the vehicle.
