Mounties in North Vancouver are probing the alleged sexual assault of a teenage boy inside a public park last week. 

Investigators with North Vancouver R-C-M-P say the suspect approached the teen from behind and sexually assaulted the youth at the Inter River Park washroom.

During the attack the victim was able to strike the suspect who later fled the scene. 

The assailant is described as a 30 to 50-year-old-man, about six feet tall with a medium to large build

Police have arrested a man who allegedly smashed several vehicle windows in the parking lot of Eagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody. Police say officers were called to the hospital on Monday just before 9 p-m after a man allegedly smashed the windows of vehicles parked in the lot, then threatened a security guard before fleeing.
