April is Sikh Heritage Month in BC. This is a time to honour the significant contributions that Sikhs have made to our province.
Sikh first settled here in the late 19th century to work in lumber mills, the logging industry, on farms, and the railway.

The British Columbia government has cancelled the operation licence of the trucking company involved in multiple highway overpass strikes since 2021.
