April is Sikh Heritage Month in BC. This is a time to honour the significant contributions that Sikhs have made to our province.
Sikh first settled here in the late 19th century to work in lumber mills, the logging industry, on farms, and the railway.

Rescuers say a woman is lucky to be alive after being caught in an avalanche on Metro Vancouver's North Shore and being completely buried upside down for up to 20 minutes.
