Amber Alert for Calgary couple and 5-year-old grandson

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 02 Jul, 2014 11:19 AM
Five-year-old Nathan O'Brien's grandparents were selling everything they owned in Calgary and were moving to a condo they had bought in Mexico before they suspiciously disappeared.

An Amber Alert for Nathan, Alvin Liknes and Kathryn Liknes is now into its third day.

Investigators are inspecting the Parkhill home where Nathan's mother arrived Monday morning and found that all three had disappeared.

Police is saying it is too early to say whether the estate sale the Liknes' had conducted over the weekend had a role in the disappearances.

Nathan's missing grandparents are not considered suspects in abduction, nor are his parents. Police believe the trio left the Liknes Parkhill home against their will sometime between Sunday and Monday morning.
