  • Alberta Triple Homicide Case Put Over To Jan. 5, Suspect In Hospital
EDSON, Alta. — A lawyer representing a teen charged in a triple homicide west of Edmonton has not entered a plea and has waived the reading of the charges.

Mickell Bailey, who is 19, was to appear in Edson court Tuesday but remained in hospital.

He was shot by RCMP earlier this month as they moved in to arrest him at a farm.

Bailey is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of second-degree murder in the deaths of Dan Miller, Roxanne Berube and Jazmine Miller, her 16-year-old daughter.

The judge issued an order that Bailey is not to have any contact with a list of people at the request of the Crown.

The case is to return to Edson court on Jan. 5. (CTV Edmonton)
