FORT VERMILION, Alta. - It appears that three teens have drowned in northern Alberta.
RCMP say three youths, aged 14, 15 and 16, went swimming Friday night in the Peace River near Fort Vermilion.
Police say the three were swept away by the current during a family swim on the Fox Lake reserve.
Search teams have been patrolling the banks of the river trying to recover the bodies since Saturday.
Officers have recovered the body of one of the boys and continue to search for the others.
Police say alcohol was not a factor.
