KAMLOOPS, B.C. — The man accused of shooting a Mountie during a traffic stop in Kamloops, B.C., is slated to have his preliminary inquiry in December.

Ken Knutson, 36, has pleaded not guilty to various offences including the attempted murder of Cpl. Jean-Rene Michaud.

He was shot last Dec. 3, and Knutson was arrested following a manhunt that lasted more than 12 hours.
