Abbotsford Police Seize 1141 Plants From Grow Operation

    On June 26, 2016 at 5:10 pm, APD Patrol Section attended a residence in the in 2200 block of Merlot Boulevard in West Abbotsford to execute a search warrant for a suspected marijuana grow operation. 
     
    The residence was heavily fortified and multiple breach points were attempted before officers were able to gain entry. A marihuana grow operation was located on the property. 
     
    A total of 1141 marihuana plants were found on site and seized.
     
    The investigation showed there was no valid marijuana grow license from Health Canadafor this property.

    Health Canada is responsible for the regulation and inspection of licensed marihuana grows operations.
