In the early hours of Friday morning at 4:11 am, Abbotsford Police were called to a home invasion in the 7000 block of Nicholson Ave after reports of shots being fired.
Upon police arrival, officers located a body of a man. During the search of the home, police also found a drug lab.
Early indications suggest that this incident is targeted, and the public is not at risk.
IHIT will be providing further information regarding the incident.
On arrival, first responders found a 66-year old man suffering from stab wounds. The victim, later identified as Terry Miller, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. On January 27, 2023, IHIT investigators arrested 24-year old Chalice Slavik of Delta, in relation to the homicide of Miller.
