  • Abbotsford man dies during boating

An Abbotsford man has been found dead after going missing while rowing on the Sumas River earlier this week.

Police say the 65-year-old rower was found by dive teams this weekend in the area where he was last seen.

The man was reported missing on June 5th paddling in the river close to McDonald Park in the Sumas Prairie region of Abbotsford.

Police say no foul play is suspected in the death.
