An Abbotsford man has been found dead after going missing while rowing on the Sumas River earlier this week.
Police say the 65-year-old rower was found by dive teams this weekend in the area where he was last seen.
The man was reported missing on June 5th paddling in the river close to McDonald Park in the Sumas Prairie region of Abbotsford.
Police say no foul play is suspected in the death.

Six people died in a plane crash near the town of Fort Smith, while a lone survivor was taken to hospital, the Northwest Territories coroner's office said Wednesday. The federal commission of inquiry into foreign interference is looking to examine alleged meddling by India in the last two general elections. In a statement today, the commission says it has asked the federal government to produce documentation related to these allegations.
