An Abbotsford man has been found dead after going missing while rowing on the Sumas River earlier this week.
Police say the 65-year-old rower was found by dive teams this weekend in the area where he was last seen.
The man was reported missing on June 5th paddling in the river close to McDonald Park in the Sumas Prairie region of Abbotsford.
Police say no foul play is suspected in the death.
Homes sales in the province are forecast to increase this year by 7.8 per cent, in what the B-C Real Estate Association says will be a delicate balance for the market. The father of a murdered 13-year-old girl has been under police investigation for allegedly bringing a gun into a Vancouver courtroom on the day that Ibrahim Ali was convicted of the killing, the man's lawyer has told a hearing. Lawyers for Ali are refusing to show up to court for post-trial proceedings citing safety concerns about the man, who can't be named because of a publication ban on the identity of the murdered girl.
