Abbotsford Man, 22, Charged With Child Luring And Exposing A Child To Sexually Explicit Material

The Canadian Press, 13 Jul, 2015 11:14 AM
ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Police in the Fraser Valley say charges against Robert Koenig come more than six months after a complaint from a family in the United States.

Parents of a 12-year-old Utah girl reported finding pornographic images and online correspondence from a person identifying himself as a 15-year-old boy from Vancouver, B.C.

Const. Ian MacDonald says the complaint was received in December 2014 and that an investigation eventually led officers to Abbotsford.

Koenig was arrested on July 9 and electronics that were seized from his home are being examined by forensic experts.

Koenig has been released on conditions that include staying away from places where children under 16 might gather, and not using a computer to access pornography of any kind.
