  • Abbotsford fire kills 1

The B-C Coroners Services is investigating a house fire in Abbotsford that has killed at least one person and left another two in critical condition.

The City of Abbotsford says fire rescue services were called out yesterday to a reported fire at a house that people were still inside.

The city says smoke and flames came from the back of the house when crews arrived, and firefighters managed to pull six people out from inside the home.

B-C Emergency Health Services says two patients received care and assessment from paramedics at the scene but later declined hospital transport.
