Abbotsford, B.C., Police Probe Sunday Night Accident Involving Two Pedestrians

    ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Two pedestrians have been hit and injured in Abbotsford, B.C.


    The unidentified victims were in a marked crosswalk at about 8 p.m. Sunday when they were hit.


    Abbotsford police issued a social media post saying a single vehicle was involved.


    The driver remained at the scene.


    The accident investigation closed a busy street beside Abbotsford's Rotary Stadium for about five hours.


    It was raining heavily at the time but police have not commented on a cause of the collision.
