A 4.5-magnitude earthquake shook off the west coast of Vancouver Island earlier today.
Earthquakes Canada says there have been no reports of damage from the quake that was about 213 kilometres southwest of Port Alice.
It comes less than a week after dozens of people reported feeling a 5.7 magnitude quake that rumbled in the same area. (CTV Vancouver Island)
The new rules are expected to come into effect on June 20, though the requirements for foreign nationals coming to Canada will not change, say two government sources close to the decision, who were granted anonymity to speak about matters they were not authorized to discuss publicly.
