DELTA, B.C. — Police say bad weather were factors in a fatal weekend collision involving a pedestrian in Delta, B.C.
A vehicle turning left (near the 1200 block of 56th Street) struck an 85-year-old woman passing through a marked crosswalk.
She was taken to hospital where she later died from her injuries.
Police say heavy rain, darkness and the woman's lack of visibility all played a role.
