Police are asking for the public's help in locating a 59-year-old man who was last seen near Pipeline Road and Galette Avenue, beside the swollen Coquitlam River.
Robert Belding went missing Sunday afternoon at the tail end of an atmospheric river weather system that drenched B-C's south coast over the weekend.
Missing person to locate: Robert Belding. He was last seen near Pipeline Road and Galette Ave in Coquitlam around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Robert can be described as:
•59-years-old
•Short Brown hair
•Brown eyes
•5’10” tall

The Coquitlam River had been subject to a flood warning that's since been lifted, and R-C-M-P say Coquitlam Search and Rescue has been called in to help.
Belding had been walking his dog, and the dog has been found wet, but alive.
