5 Suspects Arrested After Seizure Of Cash, Drugs, Luxury Cars In Chilliwack

  • 5 Suspects Arrested After Seizure Of Cash, Drugs, Luxury Cars In Chilliwack
CHILLIWACK, B.C. — RCMP say they will recommend drug-trafficking charges against five people following raids in Chilliwack, B.C.
 
Police say search warrants were executed at five homes in the Fraser Valley city as part of a so-called dial-a-dope investigation involving organized crime.
 
Officers seized firearms, thousands of dollars in cash, luxury cars, bulletproof vests, various drugs and chemicals used in the production of methamphetamine and heroin.
 
Mounties say material believed to be used for packaging products was also found to be part of an illegal drug operation that was allegedly run out of two locations.
 
Cpl. Mike Rail says the arrests will help prevent the production and sale of illegal drugs and make the community safer.
 
The suspects have been released from custody pending charges.
