42 year old man ends up with serious injuries after being stabbed in Granville Entertainment District

Vancouver Police are investigating a stabbing in the Granville Entertainment District, which left a 42-year-old man with life-threatening injuries last night.
Officers patrolling near Granville and Smithe Street were flagged down by the victim around 9:40 p.m. Sunday after he was attacked. The man had serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. He is expected to recover.
Police believe the victim and suspect were known to each other.
RCMP say the human remains were discovered last month in Connaught Hill Park. Police say with the help of the BC Coroners Service, it was able to identify the remains as those of Donna Charlie, who was killed in 1990.
On November 10, 2022, 38 year-old Nicholas Sullivan was charged with five counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm through social media. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
