Darpan News Desk, 16 Nov, 2017 12:03 PM

Four people are in hospital after a serious crash in South Surrey that happened after midnight at 24 Avenue and Croydon

First responders arrived to find a white Kia that had crashed into a median. On the other side of the intersection, a Jaguar and a Jeep were also damaged.

Sgt. Duane Honeyman with Surrey RCMP said one of the patients suffered "potentially life-threatening injuries" in the crash.

They were transported by air ambulance to hospital, where they remain in stable condition.

Three other people were also involved in the accident and were taken to two other local hospitals. Two have since been released and one was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Tow trucks arrived shortly before 8:30 a.m. and cleared the scene.

Anyone with more information is asked to contact the RCMP at 604-599-0502, or to call Crime Stoppers to leave tips anonymously.
