On March 10, 2020 at approximately 8:00 PM, Whistler RCMP responded to a report of a theft from a vehicle.

A friend of the victim reports that she arrived at the residence and observed a person stealing items from the victim’s vehicle in the 9200 block of Autumn Drive.

The witness reported that the male ran back to a waiting vehicle and then fled the scene. Police searched for the vehicle; however, it was not located. On March 11, 2020 at approximately 6:45 AM the suspect vehicle was spotted by police and fled ending up on the Cheakamus FSR where it was unable to continue.
