Three priority transit corridors have been selected by the Mayors’ Council on Regional Transportation.
Metro Vancouver’s new bus rapid transit routes will be along King George Boulevard from Surrey Centre to White Rock, from Langley Centre to Haney Place and from Metrotown to the Northshore.

A statement from the council says the corridors were selected based on ridership potential that will increase access to jobs, future housing and other developments.
The priority corridors will have traffic-separate lanes, light signal priority at intersections and high-capacity buses.
A Chilliwack man has been charged with aggravated assault and discharge of a firearm with intent, after a man was shot Sunday. R-C-M-P say they were called around 6 p-m about a disturbance on a property and found a 35-year-old man shot in the leg.

On Tuesday just before 3:00 am, Langley RCMP received reports of an impaired driver operating a red motorcycle in the 20300 block of Fraser Highway.
