23-Year-Old Surrey Woman Dies In Apparent Homicide, Canada-Wide Warrant Issued Against Spouse

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 12 May, 2015 01:29 PM
SURREY, B.C. — A warrant for manslaughter and aggravated assault has been issued for the spouse of a woman who investigators say died on Sunday in a case of domestic homicide.

Sgt. Stephanie Ashton of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said police were called to the home in Surrey, B.C., just before noon and found two injured people.

Cady Quaw, 23, the spouse of 34-year-old Gordon David, also known as Alex David, died on arrival at the hospital and a second woman remains in critical condition, said Ashton.

"The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is looking to locate Gordon Alexander David, a suspect in a recent domestic-related homicide in Surrey," said Ashton.

"IHIT is advising the public that the location of Mr. David is unknown at this time, a Canada-wide warrant has been issued, and we're asking the public to come forward with information on his whereabouts."

Ashton said she believes David was on conditions related to other domestic-related incidents.

David is described as five feet, six inches tall, weighing 161 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and has a tattoo on his right forearm of comedy and tragedy masks and skulls.

He is considered by police to be armed and dangerous.

"If you know the whereabouts of Mr. David do not approach him. Call 911 and tell police what you see."
