2015 City Of Bhangra Festival Featuring Taza Beats Kicks Off Tonight

    Vancouver, BC – The 2015 City of Bhangra Festival kicks-off tonight, in the heart of Vancouver’s entertainment district at LED Bar located on 967 Granville Street.
     
    Presented by the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society (VIBC) in partnership with Zee TV Canada, the annual City of Bhangra unites local and international artists with audiences of all ages for an all-out ten-day dance and music fest. 
     
    The Festival Kickoff presented by Denny’s Restaurant is taking it old school with Taza Beats: Throwback Edition. 
     
    Celebrating their 11th year with VIBC, Vancouver’s own esteemed DJ duo DJ Lajit and DJ Reminisce will be spinning 90’s beats from that golden era all night from 9:00 PM onwards! If you haven’t already RSVP’d, tickets are $10 at the door.
     
    The Festival will be hosting events in both Surrey and Vancouver from May 28 to June 6. On indoor and outdoor stages, in parks and clubs, City of Bhangra offers something for everyone. 
     
    Be sure to join on the closing night June 6, Downtown Bhangra taking place on the plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery, and the official VIBC afterparty presented by Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, Bhangra + Beyond at Club FIVESIXTY that same evening.
