Vancouver police say they’re looking into what could be at least two suspicious fires in Stanley Park.
They say a fire reported near Second Beach Tuesday morning was the second suspicious fire in recent days.
So far, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
The investigation comes as the region continues to experience hot and dry conditions.
The Fraser Health authority says the emergency department at a Hope, B.C., hospital that was temporarily closed after a fatal police shooting has reopened. Police say the man received immediate medical attention but was pronounced dead at the scene.
