2 Men Taken To Hospital After Shots Fired On Vancouver-Burnaby Border

    The Vancouver Police continue to deal with a prolonged incident in East Vancouver involving a number of police resources including the VPD Emergency Response Team and negotiators.
     
    Police have been at the home near East Georgia and Boundary Road since 9 a.m. after receiving reports of a fight, shots fired, and men with knives. Two people have been taken to hospital.
     
    The home has been contained and the area shut down by officers as police continue to deal with the incident. Additional details will be provided when they can be made available.
     
    Const. Brian Montague said said the VPD Emergency Response Team and negotiators are at the scene and the home has been contained.
     
    The area has been shut down to traffic as police investigate.
