Two earthquakes moved parts of B-C this morning.
The first was a magnitude 3.5 and shook just after two a-m in the Georgia Strait about 18 kilometres west of Tsawwassen.
Natural Resources Canada says the second quake -- a magnitude 4.6 -- happened at around four this morning about 63 kilometres west of Fort St. John.
The agency says the first quake was lightly felt in the Vancouver and Victoria areas, but there were no reports of damage from either shake up.
A House of Commons committee will investigate how a man who is now facing terror charges was admitted to Canada and obtained citizenship. Police in Metro Vancouver say a 19-year-old man has been charged with almost two dozen offences related to the alleged online sexual extortion of teenagers. Human-caused climate change is making heat waves much more likely, the federal government says, bringing extreme weather from fires to storms. That's according to Environment and Climate Change Canada's rapid extreme weather event attribution system, which compares today's climate to a pre-industrial one.
