Mounties in Squamish say two people have been arrested in what they are calling a weapons related incident near Government Road and Garibaldi Way on Sunday.
They say a victim was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening-injuries.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, but the incident was isolated and there is no threat to public safety.
They are asking that anyone with information contact police.
Almost all British Columbia communities have adopted the provincial government's plan to tackle the housing crisis by allowing more multi-unit homes on properties. Calgary emergency officials say they’re sending crews to help the Jasper wildfire while explaining why they briefly shuttered their evacuation centre just as the fire roared into the townsite and started burning structures.
