Police in Vancouver say two suspects have been arrested and released pending further investigation into a homicide in the Downtown Eastside last week.
They say officers had responded to reports of a man in medical distress in the Chinatown neighbourhood last Wednesday afternoon.
Police are identifying the victim as 40-year-old William Coffin and say they believe he had been stabbed during an altercation.
Environment Canada says another winter blast is hammering northwestern parts of the province and is expected to hit the south coast before Thursday. Christopher Ram, 36, pleaded guilty to the March 27, 2022 offence, as well as another indecent act that occurred April 17 at Foster Park, near Kingsway and Boundary Road.

The suspects are believed to be driving a grey newer-model Toyota Tacoma with significant front-end damage. The vehicle was last seen driving west-bound on Pitt River Road in Port Coquitlam. The officer was transported to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
