Police in Vancouver say two suspects have been arrested and released pending further investigation into a homicide in the Downtown Eastside last week.
They say officers had responded to reports of a man in medical distress in the Chinatown neighbourhood last Wednesday afternoon.
Police are identifying the victim as 40-year-old William Coffin and say they believe he had been stabbed during an altercation.
Two people have died in a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV northeast of Lytton, British Columbia. A statement from RCMP says the crash happened just after 6 p.m. Monday on Highway 1 between Lytton and Spences Bridge. Staff Sgt. Kris Clark says both victims were on the motorcycle.
Surrey R-C-M-P say video shared widely online back in May showed a vintage Chevy stunt driving before crashing into a semi-truck during a large gathering. Adrian Dix says the $366.5-million construction project now starting at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake will increase the hospital's capacity and provide a modern working environment.
