17-year-old Suspect Charged In Whistler Attack; Making Court Appearance Thursday

    WHISTLER, B.C. — A 17-year-old Vancouver resident has been charged with aggravated assault after a stabbing in Whistler, B.C.
     
    RCMP say a warrant for the teen's arrest was issued in Surrey on Monday, when he made a court appearance.
     
    Whistler RCMP Sgt. Rob Knapton says the suspect is being held in custody for another appearance on Thursday.
     
    The teenager can't be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. 
     
    Police say the stabbing was the second which occurred during that long weekend in Whistler.
