16-Year-Old Boy Arrested In Vancouver After Woman Assaulted Inside Encore Dance Club

    VANCOUVER — A 16-year-old male is in custody following an assault at an after hours dance club in Vancouver's entertainment district.
     
    Vancouver Police confirm they were called to the Encore Dance Club just after 11 p.m. Sunday.
     
    A young woman was found inside the club and has been taken to hospital.
     
    She is listed in stable condition.
     
    Sgt. Randy Fincham says the victim was assaulted, but he hasn't released her age, information about her injuries, or said where she was found in the club.
     
    An investigation is ongoing.
