1.6Kg of fentanyl seizure in Campbell River

  • 1.6Kg of fentanyl seizure in Campbell River

R-C-M-P say three search warrants executed in the Campbell River area led to the seizure of 1.6 kilograms of fentanyl as well as cocaine and methamphetamine.

Cambpell River R-C-M-P say there was evidence that the fentanyl was being diluted, dyed and molded into shapes such as dinosaurs and lego bricks.

They say officers also seized weapons, including a gun.

R-C-M-P say one person has been arrested and charged with drug trafficking and production offences, while five others are under investigation.
