168 Street and Fraser Highway closed due to fatal crash: Surrey RCMP

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 30 May, 2023 03:40 PM
  • 168 Street and Fraser Highway closed due to fatal crash: Surrey RCMP

Surrey RCMP say they closed down a major intersection this afternoon to investigate a fatal crash involving a motorcycle.

Police say they were called mid-afternoon to reports of the crash between a vehicle and the motorbike and found a person with significant injuries who couldn’t be saved.

Police have shut down Fraser Highway between 176th and 168th streets.

They’re recommending avoiding the area because the closure is expected to cause significant congestion on all surrounding routes.
