British Columbia health officials say the province ranks among the highest in the world in the number of people who have their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

There are 113 new cases of COVID-19 in BC, for a total of 146,674 cases in British Columbia. The rolling average is now 119, the lowest since October 8. 

There are 4 new COVID deaths in BC for a total of 1,738 COVID deaths in the province.

76.3% of all adults in B.C. and 74.6% of those 12 and older have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. In total, 4,165,142 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in B.C., 710,847 of which are second doses.

Health officials say a number of locations are offering extended hours and mobile clinics so more people can get immunized.

Cases by health authority-Coastal , 27 Fraser, 51- Island- 4, Interior - 31, Northern Health-0.

British Columbia entered step two of its four-step reopening plan Tuesday by allowing outdoor personal gatherings of up to 50 people, opening recreational travel across health regions and loosening other restrictions.
