10-Year-Old Boy Suffers Gunshot Wound In Maple Ridge

    VANCOUVER — Police say a 10-year-old boy suffered a gunshot injury in Maple Ridge, B.C., but they're not providing any details about what happened.
     
     
    RCMP Insp. Aaron Paradis says in a release that the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon and that the boy was transported to hospital.
     
     
    Police are calling it an isolated incident and say there is no threat to public safety.
     
     
    They're calling for any witnesses to come forward.
