VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Police Board ha offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the conviction of whoever is responsible for the murder of an "innocent child."
Police say 15-year-old Jason Nguyen was killed one year ago today, but the motive for his death remains unknown.
Sgt. Randy Fincham says Nguyen walked into his sister's bedroom covered in blood on the afternoon of July 26, 2015.
He was rushed to hospital but did not survive.
Police say the teen was a good brother and son and was not known to be involved in any crime.
It's believed he could have been targeted simply because of someone he knew.
