Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left one person dead in Surrey, B.C. today morning.
Surrey RCMP confirm that the officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 14600 block of Southview Drive at around 11:45 a.m.
Once officers arrived, they found an adult victim suffering from gunshot wounds and say the person died despite all efforts to revive them.
Police are on scene in the 14600 block of Southview Drive after a report of shots fired was received. One person has died of injuries consistent with gunshot wounds and Surrey RCMP will be working with the @HomicideTeam .

His name has not released.

On Nov. 9, a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in Surrey at 142 Street and 70A Avenue.
