Police in Metro Vancouver are looking for witnesses to a serious crash that sent one person to hospital yesterday morning.
Delta Police say it happened along River Road at around 8 a-m, when a white Volkswagen Jetta collided with a semi-truck.
They say the car became wedged under the trailer, critically injuring the driver.
Police are asking any witnesses and anyone with dash-camera footage from the area at the time of the crash to contact them.
Provincial labs in B.C. are testing out artificial intelligence for more rapid disease diagnosis, including cancer. Plastic shopping bags and other single-use products are no longer available at British Columbia stores as the government implements the latest step in its plan to phaseout certain plastic items and keep harmful chemicals out of landfills. Businesses may no longer provide single-use plastic shopping bags, and they must charge a minimum of $2 for new reusable bags or 25 cents for new paper bags.
