Police in Metro Vancouver are looking for witnesses to a serious crash that sent one person to hospital yesterday morning.

Delta Police say it happened along River Road at around 8 a-m, when a white Volkswagen Jetta collided with a semi-truck.

They say the car became wedged under the trailer, critically injuring the driver.

Police are asking any witnesses and anyone with dash-camera footage from the area at the time of the crash to contact them.
