Delta police are investigating after a targeted shooting sent one person to hospital.
Police say the shooting happened at around 5:45 p-m yesterday at 82nd Avenue between 110th and 112th streets.
Initial investigation indicates that the shooting was related to the ongoing gang conflict in B-C, and the public is not at risk.
Police say the unidentified victim has been taken to hospital for unspecified injuries related to the shooting and is being treated.
Workers at the Hudson’s Bay store at Aberdeen Mall in Kamloops, B.C., have walked off the job after their union and the company were unable to reach a wage agreement. United Steelworkers union Local 1-417, which represents the workers, says talks have been ongoing since July without success.
