Delta police are investigating after a targeted shooting sent one person to hospital.
Police say the shooting happened at around 5:45 p-m yesterday at 82nd Avenue between 110th and 112th streets.
Initial investigation indicates that the shooting was related to the ongoing gang conflict in B-C, and the public is not at risk.
Police say the unidentified victim has been taken to hospital for unspecified injuries related to the shooting and is being treated.
The police watchdog is investigating a B.C. highway chase involving a tractor flying a protest banner against sexual orientation and gender identity programs in schools, something the province's attorney general called a "fringe" and "hateful" issue inflamed by the B.C.
