Delta police are investigating after a targeted shooting sent one person to hospital.
Police say the shooting happened at around 5:45 p-m yesterday at 82nd Avenue between 110th and 112th streets.
Initial investigation indicates that the shooting was related to the ongoing gang conflict in B-C, and the public is not at risk.
Police say the unidentified victim has been taken to hospital for unspecified injuries related to the shooting and is being treated.
Mayor Ken Sim says he's moving to abolish Vancouver's elected Park Board, which is the only such body in any British Columbia city.
