  • WATCH: Surrey residents share opinion on the US Canada border closure amidst talks of re-opening

Darpan Magazine hit the streets to get your reaction to the US Canada border closure as well as BC's phase 2 of the re-start plan announced this week. The U.S.-Canada border has been closed since March 20th of last year. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke with U.S. President Joe Biden at the G7 summit about easing border restrictions, but gave no hints on a timeline or other plan specifics.

There have been growing calls from premiers right across the country to discuss reopening borders by land, air, and sea amid concerns Canada is lagging behind other nations on resuming travel.

Business leaders are also calling on Ottawa to immediately lay out a comprehensive plan with re-opening the economy and international borders.
