Sharing the stories of inspirational South Asian Canadians is a wonderful way to celebrate their achievements and contributions to society. Through Darpan My Journey we hope to inspire others within the South Asian community and beyond, while also fostering a sense of pride and unity. This project's goal is to shine a light on diverse experiences, challenges overcome, and successes achieved, ultimately enriching the cultural landscape and promoting inclusivity.
EcoSikh was started in 2009 at Windsor Castle, UK, as a response from the Sikh community to the threats of climate change and the deterioration of the natural environment. EcoSikh connects Sikh values, beliefs, and institutions to the most important environmental issues facing our world.
