Darpan Cruiser In Your City was at the Surrey Food Bank's signature fundraising event Breakfast with the Bank at Riverside Signature Banquet Hall.

Currently the Surrey Food Bank is serving close to 15,000 individuals a month and the numbers  are on the rise. However, donations are down by 30% making it more difficult for the Food Bank to ensure they have enough food to serve all their clients.

It was the 20th year for Breakfast with the Bank fundraiser. For this year the theme was 'Feeding Our Community.

Notable members from the community were present. Mark Madryga of Global BC was the Emcee.

Nancy Pagani, Executive Director with the Surrey Food bank, Keynote speaker, City of Surrey Mayor, Brenda Locke, Jinny Sims, MLA for Surrey Panorama, Manny Kang, Director of Semo Foundation and Connie Kilfoil, President of the Surrey Food Bank spoke to Darpan Magazine's host Ish Sharma on the significance of the event and the importance of donating to the Surrey Food Bank.

Darpan shares glimpses of the event along with memorable and impactful stories from Breakfast with the Bank.
